That was fast! Also, they look awesome. *adds to memories* I'll have to grab these once I'm back on the desktop. (I am banished from my home office, where my desktop and all my work live in happy harmony, for at least the weekend, possibly until NEXT MONDAY, because my brother and his fiancee can't manage to make a plan for travel that doesn't involve inconveniencing a family member.)
It actually took longer than it looked, I was playing around with the sleeve styles for a few years, I asked HP about editing her top way back then I finally got around to finishing them. I'm glad you like them though:) Top only is almost done and the guys set is a bit more than halfway done. I'm trying to finish up my hobbit set, a Gi and some CPU edits fro Brea first. Then I got distracted making matching vanities for the furniture sets I use most.
Family is great but they can be inconsiderate and a pain at times. Still, I'm glad I have mine.
Usually it takes me ages to post things even after I get the last details (like texture-referencing) finished. Pictures and read-me's and getting things onto Mediafire and all that. And I'm terribly excited for... most of that, I think-- CPU isn't my thing (because what do you do for a male counterpart?), and I don't know what Gi is... but vanities? Oh man, I've been wanting some properly-Medieval vanities for AGES. (I hope we use some of the same furniture sets!)
I'm glad I have mine, I just wish they were at a Motel 6 or something.
I don't use the CPU myself but Brea wanted it edited to make her self sim. I'm helping out because I remember how hard it was to make my own self sim due to lack of a shape lol. That's how Buxom Wench came to be. I really need to finish up with it and the Brawny Knight teens so I can finally share them. I think I must have ADD, always distracted by whatever.
Which furniture sets do you use? If you make me a list, I can get them made for you. I finished one Morrocan match and shared it at the Keep. I have the Uni Medieval one done, working on the store version and Maylin's Athelena(sp?) set now. I'm trying to get a wide variety because I play a fantasy/medieval game. My vacation hoods are island, Morrocan and Viking. The shopping district is sort of Greek and Roman, and my downtown hood hasn't been added yet because I'm not sure where I'm going with it.
I finally got around to making a self-sim last week. It turns out my upper lip is very difficult to sculpt, and that I do not have a Pooklet hair color. (Land Mine is pretty close until I'm in the sun, though.)
Oh man, furniture sets. Um. Well, Uni Medieval and Athelyna (not sure of the spelling myself, but I know there's a Y in it somewhere), so that's awesome, plus the Store Castle Set... And although I'm afraid to look at the poly counts, I do use some of the SDA Medieval stuff.
My Downtown is B-picture Transylvania, full of Sherahbim's fantasy Gypsy clothes and assorted supernatural weirdos-- because unlike Shopping District townies, Downtownies don't turn up as walkbys in your base neighborhood. I just need to find another language to translate 'over forest' into, because Terry Pratchett already used Uberwald.
Shopping districts are going to be adjacent lords' lands, if and/or when said lords amass enough money to move out of courtiers' apartments in the castle complex. Duchies and Counties and Marches and such.
A Hat sim? I hope you're going to share her :) I have all the PBK self sims running around in my game lol.
The Uni vanity is done, working on the store one now. Do you know if the SDA set is slaved? I think Ray did the living room set, I'll have to check on that one. While I was working on them I had a few ideas, can't wait to try them out and see if it works.
I'm going to have to steal that idea for downtown, that way my fantasy creature will be contained :)
I probably will share her when I can make a proper skintone for her-- she's in RenGal clothes, not on a RenGal skintone.
I saw the Uni vanity! And thank you so much for doing the store one. I have no idea if there's a slaved SDA bedroom set out there, but I think Ray only got through the dining and living sets for Morganna. Won't swear to it either way, I keep up with PBK via the Updates section, so I might miss things.
That was my thinking! It's also part of why my latest SC4 map is designed with a valley ringed by mountains with one moderately-reasonable pass, and that'll be my Downtown (which may have two parts, but both'd be ruled by His Serene Highness the Grand Vampire). Vacation locals also stay in their designated 'hoods (and multiple vacation destinations of the same type will still get the same locals), while tourists can roam any Vacation 'hood... but only the Vacation 'hoods, and no others.
